BACKGROUND
I needed a freaking internship.
INSIGHT
Writing cover letters sucks. Reading them over and over must suck for recruiters. When you're applying for a job, you're essentially selling yourself.

THE BIG IDEA
Why don't I just make a manual for myself... as if I was a product?
THE AFTERMATH
I began sending this to recruiters and to agency openings for summer internships. While bored one night, I figured I might as well post it to LinkedIn.

Within days, my intern manual had made 350 000 impressions. People from all over the world reached out to me asking for help with their personal branding and permission to re-create the concept.
SEE?
I TOLD YOU BEING LINKEDIN FAMOUS WAS A THING

My silly cover letter reached Howard Ibach and Henry Gomez, the guys behind "The Brief Bros" podcast.
I was asked to come talk about this on their podcast - and since I'm such a shy and introverted person - I said yes, naturally.
SO DID ANY AGENCIES HIRE YOU?
Uhh... well... that's pending.
